Screenprinting

Our process

Screen printing is the method of pushing ink through a screen that is stenciled with your design. The stencil is printed onto the screen using the “big fancy printer” and then placed in an exposure unit that burns your design into the screen. This process allows the ink to pass through the screen onto the fabric.

We specialize in a process called discharge printing. Discharge is a process that uses water-based ink that lifts the color out of the fabric and replaces it with the color of the ink. This process leaves the print area soft so you don’t feel the thickness of the ink on your skin. Some fabrics need a little tougher approach so we also use Plastisol or other water-based inks such as Aquaflex.

Screen printing is not limited to just T-Shirts. We screen print hoodies, jackets, tote bags, tank tops, safety vests, lambs, goats, donkeys….on and on. Just tell us what you need and we’ll figure out a way to put your design on it.

(Disclaimer- we don’t actually screen print on live animals)
